What makes your service so special?
Simply put, high-end quality and service. We are a professional lab that has served distinguished professional photographers for over a decade. As a business serving the professional community, our standards were set high enough to serve the most demanding and discerning clients in the business. This level of expertise is goes into every print that we make and every client that we serve.

Furthermore, unlike most of our competition, design and printing are done in-house. This allows us to be more responsive and to be able to maintain higher quality control.

What type of paper do you use for your announcements and greeting cards?
We feel your images should last a lifetime. That’s why we use professional quality Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper. It comes in a lustre finish, also known as professional E surface. It resists fingerprints very well and will NOT fade. It’s subtle texture and vivid colors will make your cards look like a million dollars!

How does the proofing procedure work?
We work diligently with each customer to make sure they end up with a card design they are thrilled to mail out to friends and family. We take your ordering information and e-mail you one proof of your design. At that time, you can e-mail us back letting us know that the design is “approved” (ready to send to print) or, let us know what changes you would like to see made. It helps if you are as specific and thorough as possible in letting us know of your changes so that further proofing isn’t needed. Each time a new proof is required it delays your printing and shipping time. We do our best to get the design right the first time, but don’t worry if you see changes you want made - our highest goal is to make you happy.

Sometimes when you receive your first proof you might decide that you want to see another image on the card instead of the one you originally chose. We do allow for one image to be switched per order at no charge. Any additional image changes will be require a $10 additional charge.

Can you convert my color photo to Black & White?
Of course we can! At the time you place your order, please use the drop down menu to specify whether you would like your images in color, black and white or sepia (a chocolate brown tone).

How do I place a re-order ?
Our site is constantly changing - getting better and better. We are currently working on installing a “Re-Order” tab on your my account page, but in the meantime, please give us a phone call or send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of getting your additional cards to you.

How do I get my photo(s) to you?
At the time of checkout, you will upload your photos to us using a browse window. Currently, we only offer services using images you upload to us via the internet. We don’t accept negatives, prints or digital files sent through the mail in order to keep our workflow streamlined so your products are delivered as quickly as possible.

How do you protect my information when ordering?
When you place an order at SnapCouture.com, the sensitive data you transmit is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. This technology creates a secure connection between you and our server; as a result, your information will not be captured by anyone trying to spy on you.

Furthermore, SnapCouture.com uses our own 256-bit SSL Certificate provided to us by SiteSafe. This is important to note, because some companies use a "shared SSL certificate" which is shared by other users, and hosted on a different server. When you make a purchase with Snap Couture, you will notice that the URL always begins with our domain name; you never leave our site.

What do you mean by "Free Professional Image Enhancement"?
We want you to look your best! First, we adjust your original image to the best of our ability. Additionally, on orders of $100 or more, at your request and where possible, we will also correct minor scratches and skin blemishes. Please request these edits in the special instructions during checkout. We currently do not offer services beyond light retouching.

What is your turnaround time?
Once you approve your design, your photo cards will be printed and shipped within 1 or 2 business days. If UPS ground is selected at checkout, shipping takes between one and five business days depending on your location. Please refer to our UPS Zone Chart to estimate your delivery time.

Snap Couture offers several options for delivery within the US: Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day Air. For Hawaii and Alaska customers, please select 2-Day or Next Day Air only. Do you have a Christmas deadline?
Our normal turnaround schedule will apply for the holiday season.

Can I order less than the stated minimum order?
In order to provide the best services at the best prices, we must keep our minimum order guidelines.

How much text can I fit on my card?
Each different design can accommodate different amounts of text. For a good idea of how much text will fit on a particular design, consider the sample. We always recommend editing your text down so your card design doesn’t get overwhelmed. Worst case scenario - there is too much text to fit. In this case, we will design the card using our best judgment. Then when you receive your proof you can request that changes be made to how we pared down and placed your text.

I would like to crop or edit my picture; what do I do?
If an image needs to be cropped, just let us know with very specific instructions in the special instructions box at checkout.

Digital images MUST be at the highest resolution possible for quality results. If, after cropping, we see that the action reduces the quality of your image, we will send you an e-mail letting you know and await further instructions.

How many envelopes will I receive with my order?
We include one envelope per card. We highly recommend ordering extra envelopes in case mistakes are made during the addressing process (or your kid spills juice on a stack of them!). When you checkout, there is a drop down menu for you to choose extra envelopes.

Do your greeting cards require extra postage?
No, our 5x7 cards can be sent by the United States Postal Service with regular postage just like a standard letter.

Can I make changes to the greeting / announcement designs?
Most of our greeting cards are uniquely customizable. If you fall in love with a design that only features 3 images but you want 4 - just let us know in the special instructions. Also, Snap Couture is the only custom greeting card company with Color Match capabilities. On most of our designs we can pull colors directly from your photo and match the background design of the card to them. Color Match takes a card from ordinary to extraordinary.

When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase.
